My name is Laura and I am married to Jon. We have two children, Molly and Ben. The four of us have always loved to travel and get itchy feet if at home for too long. I grew up moving home and travelling from place to place with my dad serving overseas in the Army. In the breaks, my parents would hook up our caravan and explore whichever part of the world we happened to be in at that time. History repeated itself when I met Jon who was to join the Royal Marines. Molly joined us early on in our adventure and Ben 5 years later…then Eddy (the dog). The love of travel, adventure and exploration was hard wired into us all and we would regularly pack up our car with the tent..and pretty much the kitchen sink and set off chasing the sun, the sea or the snow…..!
Fast forward a few years, as everyone got bigger, we realised, we needed something bigger which is when our van, Tallulah, joined our family. She changed our lives overnight. She has taken us to the northern most parts of Scotland to paddleboard, the southern tips of the UK to surf, the mountains of France to ski and snowboard, Spain to paddleboard, go parascending and much, much more. Being a teacher for many years, we were able to take advantage of the long holidays and for every holiday a new adventure commenced.
The freedom and the fun that our VW T6 brought to our family is exactly why, when I realised I had given everything to my teaching career and needed a change, I decided to set up a business where I could share the fun and the freedom that has forged my own family and their adventurous spirit with everyone.
A good friend of ours, Luke, a VW enthusiast also, joined us in our venture and together we are hoping to offer anyone that wants to use one of our beautiful vans as first timers, or seasoned travelers and explorers the most stress free and fun experience going. We are 100% customer focused and we make sure that everything we provide and do, is exactly what you want. We always act on feedback and want to give you the best possible short or long trip that we can.
